Oaklands Osteopathy serve local areas in Ware, Hertford, Stevenage, Hoddesdon, Walkern, Weston, Stapleford, Waterford, Knebworth and Datchworth.

Our Osteopaths have all undergone five years of training at degree level and with over 1,200 hours of clinical training before being registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOSc).  Legally, an Osteopath may only use this title if they are registered with GOSc and once they have done this, Osteopaths must complete yearly training  as part of our Continuous Professional Development.

At Oaklands Osteopathy we aim to provide a comprehensive range of care to our patients. Our highly experienced Osteopaths pride themselves in the diagnosis, treatment and pain relief of musculo-skeletal problems and the rehabilitation of sports injuries. A professional, caring and confidential approach to each patient is considered particularly important to us.

An Osteopath focuses on the cause of your problem and symptoms.  Everyone is unique, and you can be assured that each treatment provided by Oaklands Osteopathy is individually tailored to you, with the objective of helping you gain an understanding of your condition and how to manage it effectively.

Our Osteopaths have experience in treating a wide range of conditions and welcome everyone from new mothers to babies, children through to the elderly, office and manual workers, sports enthusiasts and athletes.

Preventative Care

We value the importance of being able to assess individual biomechanical and functional ability, whether sportsmen or women, recreational athletes or members of the public, using established protocols to implement proactive preventative care and management of our patients.

Injury Assessment and Treatment

Whilst able to diagnose many problems within the clinic, should our patients require further investigations we will ensure you are referred to the appropriate health professional.

Preparing for & Returning to Sport

We understand the importance of ensuring that tailored strategies are used to prepare individuals for a return to their chosen activities following injury or when commencing an activity.

Health Management & Advice

We provide a wide variety of support to patients both during and after treatment and are able to offer advice on lifestyle changes that can help reduce the impact of potential niggles and problems that can often occur through everyday stress.
